When you search for environmental records online, we have specific searches and user guides to help you find what you need.
Use the CDPHERM WTR Clean Water Search and user guide if you need clean water records including permits, enforcement documents and other information.
Use the CDPHERM WTR Public Search Address/City/County if you need both clean water and drinking water records for a specific address.
Use the CDPHERM WTR Public Search Drinking Water if you want to retrieve records for a public water system.
Physical records are available for review under the Colorado Open Records Act at the Water Quality Control Division records center. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays.
NOTE: Each division maintains separate records. Please contact the Air Pollution Control Division or the Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Division individually for a file review and records request.

Bring a valid ID card to review records.
Copying by the division is limited. We use an external copying service that will bill directly.
You can bring note-taking material, including laptop computers and scanners.
