Division of Environmental Health and Sustainability (DEHS) consists of seven programs implementing a variety of services for CDPHE to protect and improve Colorado's environment and human health.

Sustainability programs

Colorado Green Business program, Environmental Leadership program, Household Medication Take-Back program, pollution prevention, recycling grants and incentives, SARA Title III programs, Small Business Ombudsman program and supplemental environmental programs.

Food Safety and Licensing

Information on cottage foods, industrial hemp, manufactured food, milk program, retail food, food safety regulations and assisted living food safety regulations.

Environmental Agriculture Program

The Environmental Agriculture program focuses on permitting and compliance assurance at Colorado's animal feeding operations. Information on regulations, best management practices, forms, reporting, and composting.
