Oil and gas tank reporting requirements
Background
Oil and gas owners or operators must submit annual storage tank control reports under Regulation 7, Part B, Section I.F.3. The CDPHE Air Pollution Control Division provides documents and resources to help owners and operators submit reports and submit reports on time.
The 2025 required forms for oil and gas owners or operators to meet the annual reporting requirements are now available.
2025 required forms
Annual 2025 reports are due no later than April 30, 2026.
Required annual reporting forms and instructions:
- 2025 Regulation 7 Storage Tank Control template.
- Download the template and complete all required sections in each tab.
- 2025 Regulation 7 Gas Only Storage Tank Control template.
- Download the template and complete all required sections in each tab.
- Required only if stated in your permit.
- Responsible Official form.
- Download the Responsible Official form and complete all applicable sections, including a signature.
- Reporting Guidance Document.
- Assists users with completing the spreadsheet and the Responsible Official Certification form.
Reports must include both the spreadsheet and the Responsible Official form.
The annual Regulation 7 Storage Tank Control report consists of the division-approved spreadsheet and the Responsible Official Certification form.
