The Colorado Air Quality Control Commission is appointed by the governor and authorized by the Colorado General Assembly to oversee Colorado’s air quality program according to the Colorado Air Pollution Prevention and Control Act, Section 25-7-101 et seq., C.R.S., as amended. The purpose of the commission is to adopt a cost-effective and efficient air quality management program that promotes clean and healthy air for Colorado's citizens and visitors, protect Colorado's scenic and natural resources, and promotes statewide greenhouse gas pollution abatement.
Due to COVID-19 response activities, we are not currently hosting meetings in person. The commission is conducting all meetings as remote meetings only using the Zoom platform. This became effective March 18, 2020 and will continue until further notice. Opportunity will be made available for parties to rulemaking hearings and interested members of the public to participate remotely in the meetings. Zoom registration links will be posted to this website and on meeting agendas. We will continue to update the website as the situation changes.

Next Executive Committee meeting is scheduled: Thursday, January 27, 2022 to begin at 8:00 a.m. as an online meeting only. Executive Committee meetings are used to discuss the next month's agenda and logistics of the meeting. Members of the public are welcome to attend however public comments are not taken during this meeting. Please contact the commission office at email@example.com at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting if you would like to attend the Executive Committee meeting.
