The Colorado Air Quality Control Commission (AQCC) is appointed by the governor and authorized by the Colorado General Assembly to oversee Colorado’s air quality program according to the Colorado Air Pollution Prevention and Control Act, Section 25-7-101 et seq., C.R.S., as amended. The purpose of the commission is to adopt a cost-effective and efficient air quality management program that promotes clean and healthy air for Colorado's citizens and visitors, protect Colorado's scenic and natural resources, and promotes statewide greenhouse gas pollution abatement.

AQCC: Public Comment Hearing - Magellan Aurora Terminal & Crestone Peak Resources

The Colorado Air Quality Control Commission will hold a public comment hearing(s) to elicit and record comments on proposed Title V Operating Permits for Crestone Peak Resources Operating, LLC’s Mustang Booster Station in Adams County, Permit Number 23OPAD52 and Magellan Pipeline Terminals to operate the Aurora Terminal in Adams County, Permit Number 17OPAD399.

These will be joint meetings where public comments on both permits will be heard

  • Saturday, December 13, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m. (this meeting is virtual only). Meeting registration (Zoom Registration is to attend this public meeting as well as sign up to provide public comment)

This meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17 (virtual via Zoom) and 9 a.m. on December 18 & 19 (hybrid - in person, 4300 Cherry Creek Drive South, Building A - in the Sabin Conference Room, Denver, CO 80246 and via Zoom).

Be sure to save your confirmation email as it will provide you access to join the meeting.

Sign-up for public comment closes the morning of the meeting (Wednesday, December 17) at 8 a.m. If public comment slots fill before the morning of the meeting, a waitlist will be started. A list of registered public commenters will be posted to the commission's website in the meeting materials folder. Comments will be heard from those that signed up first. 

Written comments on any air quality topic are welcome at: cdphe.aqcc@state.co.us. 

Next Executive Committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 8, 2026 beginning at 9 am as an online meeting only. Executive Committee meetings are used to discuss the next month's agenda and logistics of the meeting. Members of the public are welcome to attend however public comments are not taken during this meeting. Please contact the commission office at cdphe.aqcc@state.co.us if you would like to attend this meeting.
