Steps to gain heart attack center recognition
1. Obtain a heart attack certificate from a national accrediting body.
3. Await a confirmation email. A response will be sent about one week after receipt of completed application.
Heart attack Reporting
Heart attack receiving centers are required to submit quarterly reports to the department. Heart attack referral centers and facilities that perform percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) are encouraged to also submit reports.
