Those interested in becoming a reviewer must meet the listed reviewer requirements and submit an application. Reviewers may email requests for upcoming reviews to lisa.domenico@state.co.us. Refer to the designation review schedule below.

Reviewer requirements
The reviewer roles and criteria listed below are the minimum requirements to become an approved trauma designation reviewer.
Surgical Physician Reviewer
- Current board-certification in the specialty you represent
- Active physician license with no disciplinary or board actions on file
- Active practice in trauma care and trauma center operations
Emergency Medicine Physician Reviewer
- Current board-certification in emergency medicine
- Active physician license with no disciplinary or board actions on file
- Active practice in trauma care and trauma center operations
Trauma Nurse Reviewer
- Clinical experience as a trauma nurse coordinator or trauma program manager
- Active registered nurse license with no disciplinary or board actions on file
- Active practice in trauma care and trauma center operations
