Preventing HIV (COHAS)
Goal: Prevention services and interventions are available to all Coloradans equitably
Workgroup Purpose: To advise and support the department and the State on prevention services and interventions as outlined in the COHAS. This includes but is not limited to, innovative approaches to testing; enhancing knowledge of and access to PrEP, PEP, and syringe service programs.
Improving Health Outcomes for PLHIV (COHAS)
Goal: Inclusive Care is available when and where people need it in order to thrive
Workgroup Purpose: To advise and support the State in providing inclusive whole-person care for all as outlined in the COHAS. This includes, but is not limited to, improving linkage to care and rapid start access to antiretroviral therapy; piloting a client portal in the Denver metro area for access to housing and emergency financial assistance; and using telehealth and mobile services to ensure equitable access across the state.
Disrupting/Reducing Inequities (COHAS)
Goal: A Colorado where all people living with HIV and vulnerable to the acquisition of HIV have equitable and just access to care and services in their communities.
Workgroup Purpose: To advise and support the State on innovative and critical strategies to reduce the inequities across the state as outlined in the COHAS. This includes, but is not limited to, reduction of stigma; engaging, employing, and providing leadership opportunities for PLHIV and people who are vulnerable to the acquisition of HIV; and, elevating social justice.
Alliance Membership and Operations
Goal: Simplifying operational workflows/processes and the membership process.
Workgroup Purpose: To advise and support the Alliance with requested operational workflows/processes/vital document update(s) and membership recruitment/interviews/recommendations.
