Survey Research

We conduct confidential health studies and we are not telemarketers. We do not use automated calling systems – a real person will call you. Our questions cover topics such as general health status, health behaviors, and preventive health practices.

We call both landline and cell phone numbers that are randomly selected from a pool of both listed and unlisted phone numbers across the state.

The results provide information necessary for evaluating health programs, monitoring public health trends, and planning future activities to improve the health of current and former Colorado residents. Our studies provide much of the data available on the Colorado Health Indicators website.

Participation is voluntary and confidential. We will not ask for your name, address, or other personal information that can identify you. Your participation helps to make the results represent all Colorado adults, and we greatly appreciate your willingness to take part in this important study!

Either the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment or ICF International will contact you. If ICF contacts you, the interviewer may share they are calling on behalf of the Colorado Department of Health.
