Maternal health data

Data sharing and requests

Maternal mortality data from 2014 through 2022 is currently available for request.

The Maternal Mortality Prevention Program (MMPP) collects maternal mortality data, and some of this data is available upon request. The CDPHE Data Request system is temporarily unavailable. At this time, data can be requested by emailing preventmaternalmortality@state.co.us. When submitting a data request, please consider:

  • When is the data needed?
  • What years of data do you need?
  • What specific data points are you interested in?
  • What questions are you hoping to answer with the data?
  • How will you use the data?
  • Are you interested in pregnancy-associated data, pregnancy-related data, or both?
  • Are you looking for statewide data?

A member of the MMP team will work with you to better understand your needs if you are not sure about the answers to some of these questions.
