Overview
This funding opportunity will fund nonprofit and community-based organizations to increase tax credit claims for low- and middle-income families, such as the Child Tax Credit (CTC), Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), Child and Dependent Care Tax Credit (CDCTC), and state tax credits, with a focus on reaching immigrant, refugee, and newcomer communities, and people who have been systemically disadvantaged.
Applicants who are best suited to implement this work are those with existing relationships serving community members in Colorado, those with experience collaborating with community-based organizations and nonprofits within their Colorado communities, and those with capacity to conduct community-level outreach and referrals to increase tax filing and tax credit claims working with Colorado communities.
