Applicable to all generators
General guidance that may apply in addition to the guidance applicable to your generator category.

Very small quantity generators
Generate less than 100 kilograms of hazardous waste per calendar month (about 220 pounds or 27 gallons) and less than 1 kilogram of acutely hazardous waste per calendar month (about 2.2 pounds)

Small quantity generators
Generate more than 100 or more kilograms but less than 1000 kilograms of hazardous waste per calendar month (between 220 and 2200 pounds or 27 and 270 gallons) and less than 1 kilogram of acutely hazardous waste per calendar month (about 2.2 pounds)

Large quantity generators
Generate 1000 or more kilograms of hazardous waste per calendar month (over 2200 pounds or 270 gallons) and/or 1 kilogram or more of acutely hazardous waste per calendar month (over 2.2 pounds)

Transporters
Hazardous waste transporters, used oil transporters

Environmental cleanup
Cleanup and screening levels, sampling, corrective action, asbestos in soil, lead, mercury, meth labs, Brownfields and voluntary cleanup, environmental covenants and use restrictions, post-closure care

Used oil
Generators, collection areas, transporters

Electronics waste management
Residential, business, government, recyclers, landfills

Medical and pharmaceutical waste
