Composting

Section 14 of the solid waste regulations provides information on the design, operating, monitoring, closure and post closure requirements for most commercial composting facilities. These regulations don't apply to backyard, agricultural or biosolids composting.

Composting annual reporting
By March 1 of each year, registered composters must submit an annual form reporting on their results of the previous calendar year.
