Laboratory Certification Program

All testing laboratories must meet certain performance and certification standards. We do onsite inspections of the laboratories. We also train staff at the testing labs to improve practices for better results. We inspect and certify laboratories that perform testing in the following categories:

• Clinical (medical) labs, referred to as Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA).
• Dairy or milk testing.
• Alcohol and drug (toxicology).
• Drinking water.
