Emergency Preparedness and Response Public Health and Medical Advisory Committee (PHMAC)

Purpose
The PHMAC serves as a strategic planning and visionary entity, and ensure open lines of communication and information sharing with all stakeholders to increase effectiveness, efficiency, and synergy.
Vision

The PHMAC will contribute to Colorado having a prepared and resilient public health and medical community through coordinated and integrated emergency preparedness, response, and recovery activities.

Mission

The PHMAC serves as an expert stakeholder group to provide the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment's Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response ideas and guidance on the direction of public health and medical emergency preparedness, response, and recovery efforts in Colorado.

Committee members
PHMAC has 27 members. The committee is chaired by the Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response's director.
Committee meetings
In person quarterly meetings.In addition the committee will meet as necessary.
