The act creates the kidney disease prevention and education task force (task force) and makes an appropriation. The task force consists of members who are part of the general assembly and members who are not part of the general assembly. The task force's purpose is to evaluate and make recommendations to the general assembly about the detection, treatment, education, and awareness of kidney disease in Colorado.
