DENVER (June 30, 2020): Governor Polis today signed into law Senate Bill 20-204, enhancing the state’s ability to improve air quality and protect public health and the environment by providing the Department of Public Health and Environment’s Air Pollution Control Division with new resources for monitoring, inspection, and enforcement.

DENVER, June 23, 2020: The state announced the results of a project that tested water statewide for PFAS, pervasive chemicals that originate from toxic firefighting foam and other sources.

The State of Colorado is welcoming home 39 cruise ship passengers who have been under U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) quarantine since their ship docked in California on March 9.

DENVER, March 14, 2020: Due to high-volume, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) has closed the drive-up testing site at the Denver Coliseum for the rest of the day today, Saturday, March 14. The line was cut off at 200 cars today. 

DENVER, March 14, 2020: The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) confirmed 24 new presumptive positive cases in Colorado, based on overnight test results. That brings the total number of presumptive positive cases to date to 101.
