  • Developmental disabilities.

Licensed staff routinely on-site

In general, the regulations don't require licensed staff. Specialized adult day centers must have a nurse or a certified nurse aide on duty at all times. Adult day programs that can provide services to people with brain injuries must receive specific training in caring for this population, have cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training, and be trained in and demonstrate competency in seizure prophylaxis and control.
