Workplace safety data and reports

Occupational health indicators (OHI)

Each year, on average, 112 work-related deaths occur in Colorado, or approximately one work-related fatality every three to four days. Every year thousands of other people are injured on the job or become ill from work-related exposures.

The individuals and families affected by occupational injury may bear substantial human and financial burdens from loss of income, independence and sometimes life. Work-related injuries, illnesses and fatalities are preventable with adequate safety and health policies and procedures.

Occupational poisonings

Rocky Flats worker studies and other related reports are available from our Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Division.
