House Bill 19-1160 provides for the creation of a pilot program allowing the operation of a Metal Health Facility in which an individual who cannot be appropriately served in existing licensed facilities could receive both physical and mental health services in a residential setting, with the goal of transitioning to a more independent living setting. Parties interested in learning more about the requirements for participating in the pilot should download and review the application, which includes an overview of the pilot program, the requirements for participation, and the application itself. Applications are due to the Department no later than December 1, 2019, and should be submitted according to the instruction in the application packet.
