Health-facility-reported incidents

In accordance with Colorado Revised Statute 25-1-124 and Chapter 2 State licensure regulations, all licensed health care entities are required to submit their investigative findings of certain events meeting Occurrence reporting criteria to the Division. With our role of protecting and improving public health, the Department conducts an off-site investigation of the event. Afterwards, a brief summary of the event findings is written for public review, which highlights preventative safety measures taken by the provider to help ensure consumer safety. Additionally, Nursing facilities have reporting obligations to submit facility reported incidents to meet Federal reporting requirements.
