Healthcare coalitions are a collaborative network of healthcare organizations and public and private sector emergency response partners that come together to coordinate and prepare for emergencies and disaster events. This includes planning, organizing, equipping, training, exercises and evaluation. Membership is based by region and can include emergency management, emergency medical services, public health, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living residences, home health, hospice, dialysis centers, and other healthcare providers, public health, and behavioral health. The strength of HCCs is that they reflect the unique needs and characteristics of each local jurisdiction. Currently, there are nine Health Care Coalitions in Colorado. Each coalition manages its own membership and activities

- Northwest Region Healthcare Coalition (NWRHCC)
