Facility licensing and guidance
A gamete agency, gamete bank, or fertility clinic must not operate in Colorado or match or provide gametes or embryos to recipients in Colorado without obtaining a license from CDPHE by July 1, 2025. CDPHE began accepting applications on Jan. 1, 2025.
If the program is unable to process all applications and conduct inspections prior to July 1, 2025, a provisional license may be issued to entities whose applications are awaiting review and/or inspection.
