Entities must apply for licensure by April 1, 2025, in order to be licensed by July 1, 2025.
A gamete agency, gamete bank, or fertility clinic must not match or provide gametes or embryos to recipients in Colorado without obtaining a license from CDPHE by July 1, 2025. CDPHE will begin accepting applications on Jan. 1, 2025.
If the program is unable to process all applications and conduct inspections prior to July 1, 2025, a provisional license may be issued to entities whose applications are awaiting review and/or inspection.

The Gamete Bank and Fertility Clinic Program will host an informational webinar on January 15, 2025, at 11 a.m. MST. The webinar will address frequently asked questions regarding Rule requirements and facility responsibilities. Sign up here to attend the webinar.
