The CCPD Review Committee oversees the strategic planning and funding recommendations for the Cancer, Cardiovascular and Chronic Pulmonary Disease (CCPD) Grants Program.

Committee vacancy announcement

The Cancer Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Disease (CCPD) Grant Program, on behalf of the Colorado Board of Health, is currently seeking to fill two positions to serve on the legislatively-mandated grant program Review Committee:

  • Primary care provider
  • Rural representative

All applicants must submit:

  • A signed application form.
  • Current resume or curriculum vitae.
  • Statement of interest.
  • Letter of support/recommendation.

Applications are due on Friday, October 1, 2021. Applicants who reside outside of the Denver metro area and particularly in rural areas of the state are strongly encouraged to apply. Please see the vacancy announcement and application form for more details.

About the CCPD Review Committee

  • A 16-member working advisory board develops funding priorities, reviews grant applications and makes recommendations to the Board of Health for the competitive grants program.

  • Volunteer members are appointed by the Board of Health, the Legislature and CDPHE's executive director, and serve a three-year term.

  • Created in 2005 by Amendment 35 with the responsibility for "overseeing program strategies and activities and ensuring compliance with Section 25-20.5-302" of the Colorado Revised Statutes (CRS 25-20.5-303 [1]).
