CDPHE's Performance Plan
As part of Colorado’s State Measurement for Accountable, Responsive, and Transparent Government (SMART) Act, each state agency has a statutory obligation to submit and publish a Performance Plan each year. The plan requires key elements such as Wildly Important Goals (WIGs) for the upcoming fiscal year, WIG results from the previous fiscal year, continuous process improvement activities, and a reference to the department’s equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts.

2023 - 2026 Strategic Plan
CDPHE is excited to share the news that after more than a year of dedicated work, dozens of conversations across every CDPHE division, and careful thinking about what the department wants to achieve for the people it serves, the department has completed its 2023-2026 strategic plan.
More than 170 CDPHE employees at all levels of the organization engaged in facilitated sessions to shape the strategic plan, and their input was absolutely vital to defining our goals and priorities.
The strategic plan not only recognizes the challenges CDPHE faces, but also equips the department to meet them with clarity, enthusiasm, and the tools we need to succeed. Thank you to everyone who participated in the planning process and helped make it such a resounding success.
