Respiratory virus immunization data
This dashboard provides Colorado coverage estimates for respiratory virus season immunizations in Colorado. CDPHE updates the dashboard based on current data in the Colorado Immunization Information System (CIIS). The dashboard updates every Wednesday and includes data through the previous Saturday.
Coverage estimates are calculated using a numerator and denominator. Numerators are based on the number of Colorado residents who have received the specified respiratory virus season immunization based on data reported to CIIS.
Denominators are based on the number of Colorado residents in CIIS as of July 1. To correct for record fragmentation and outdated address information in CIIS, records are included in the denominator based on their age group and the date of their most recent vaccination in CIIS. Infants younger than three months are included if they received at least one vaccine. Infants 4 - 9 months old are included if they received at least one vaccine when they were older than 24 days. Children 10 months - 4 years old are included if they had at least two non-flu and non-COVID vaccines administered on different days when they were younger than nine months. Children 5 - 17 years old and adults 80 years and older are included if they received at least one vaccine in the past five years. Adults 18 - 79 years are included if they have received at least one vaccine in the past 10 years.
