Update on COVID-19 in Colorado

DENVER, March 9, 2020: The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s (CDPHE) state lab identified a new presumptive positive case of COVID-19. The state discovered 4 presumptive positive cases today and one indeterminate case. 

 

This brings the case total to 12 presumptive positives and one indeterminate case for Colorado. 

 

The positive cases are:

 

Case #1: 

  • Sex: Female
  • Age: 50s
  • County: Larimer 

 

Case #2

  • Sex: Female 
  • Age: 70s 
  • County: Eagle

 

Case #3

  • Sex: Female 
  • Age: 30s
  • County: Denver

 

Case #4

  • Sex: Female
  • Age: 30s
  • County: Arapahoe 
  • Tri-County Health Department is the lead investigator for the case and will provide additional details as necessary to protect public health. The investigation is ongoing.

 

The indeterminate case is:

  • Sex: Female 
  • Age: 70s
  • County: Denver
