Due to COVID-19, family child care home providers are eligible to receive Tier 1 reimbursement for all meals and snacks. The waiver is in effect from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022. See the area eligibility waiver here and the information below.

The Child and Adult Care Food Program can offer many benefits to you and the children and families you serve! To be eligible to participate in CACFP, your child care home

Must be licensed.

Must meet the USDA definition of a family child care or group home.

Must work with a CACFP sponsor.

Multiple sponsors serve the same areas. You can interview several before making a decision.
