Delegation of duties

• A written delegation plan defines the routine tasks, activities and decision-making authority that may be delegated by the operator in responsible charge (ORC) to other operators.
• Regulation 100 requires that a written operating plan be in place whenever the ORC delegates duties to others.
• The written delegation plan must be reviewed and updated as needed, but at least annually.
• The written delegation plan must be available to the facility owner and other facility operators at all times.
