- HL7 integration eliminates errors associated with incomplete forms and data entry.
- HL7 integration allows healthcare organizations to scale their electronic orders/reports and adapt what tests are ordered/reported electronically.
How to get started with a HL7 Integration:
- Review the HL7 Hosted Interface Specifications document.
- Become a customer of the State Lab - Skip this step if your facility is already testing with the State Lab.
- Email the State Lab to set up connectivity for testing.
