Adopted rules
On May 15, 2024 the Board of Health May 15, adopted changes to our rules. These rules will become effective July 15, 2024.
Changes include:
- $52 application processing fee, which was previously $25.50
- Technical changes to correct formatting, punctuation, and capitalization to help improve readability of the rule.
The updated rules will be available on the Colorado Secretary of State’s website closer to the effective date.
Application processing fee
This will become $52 effective July 15, 2024.
Online payments
When an applicant pays by credit card or electronic check online they are charged a small transaction fee.
- The transaction fee for an electronic check will be $1, which will bring the total to $53.
- The transaction fee for a credit card will be $2.29 which will bring the total to $53.94.
Mailed applications
Applications postmarked on or after July 15, 2024 will need to include a $52 application processing fee.
Mailed applications must be sent via certified mail which is $4.40. The total cost of the application fee and certified mail service is $56.40. Postage costs may vary depending on the weight of the application packet. Return receipts can be purchased for an additional fee.
