Immigrants and refugees traveling to the United States are evaluated for TB before arriving and assigned a classification according to the status of their disease. The Division of Global Migration and Quarantine notifies CDPHE’s TB Program of all individuals who are in need of additional TB evaluation, referred to as Class BTB classification.
