Health Information Data System Newborn Hearing Portal Meetings
The Colorado Health Informatics Data Systems (HIDS) is an application portal that houses and supports surveillance data software programs throughout the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). The Newborn Hearing Program (NBH) application is not an Electronic Medical Record. This application is available to select providers based on their role in newborn hearing screening services provision in order to provide care for patients with identified hearing loss.
CDPHE periodically offers user Q & A sessions for providers using the system, and historically has gathered user feedback throughout the development of the application.
