Colorado Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Steering Committee

This interagency group was created in 2024 to fulfill the need for multi-agency collaboration in Colorado, after a years-long gaps analysis beginning in 2022 (with a 100 provider survey and multiple focus groups) and funded by CDPHE. Our partners at the Colorado Department of Human Services are housing the steering committee documents, including a 4-agency overview of the roles of all four government agencies. 
 

The EHDI Interagency Steering Committee 

The COEHDI Interagency Steering Committee is an interagency group of the four government agencies involved in Colorado’s entire EHDI system. The agencies are:  

• Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment,
• Colorado Department of Human Services,
• Colorado Department of Early Childhood,
• Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind.

The steering committee currently meets monthly on the first Tuesday of the month, with a public comment/Q & A section open from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m.
