The Water Quality Control Division (division) is identifying possible changes, which include fee increases, to the Water and Wastewater Facility Operators Certification Requirements, Regulation 100 (5 CCR 1003-2). The changes could become effective in 2024. One of the revisions will increase the cost of administered operator exams in Colorado from $100 to $104. There are four other possible changes. The rulemaking hearing with the Water and Wastewater Facility Operators Certification Board will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. You will need to register to attend the virtual meeting. You can provide feedback directly to the board about these proposed changes. Written comments should be sent to cdphe.wwforcb@state.co.us and must be received by Nov. 28, 2023.
