How can I participate in the Commission?
If you are interested in being considered for an appointment to the Commission, please use this application!
All full meetings of the Commission and workgroup meetings are open to members of the public. If you would like to help prevent suicide in Colorado, or are just interested in learning more, we encourage you to attend! If you require any special accommodations and plan to attend the next meeting, please contact the Office of Suicide Prevention to make sure appropriate accommodations are in place.

Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) analysts have concluded their Sunset Review process and have recommended the Commission to continue in statute. The public Sunset Review report can be found on pages 37-44. Further information will be released when more information becomes available.
2026 Quarterly Commission Meetings

- Friday, January 16, 202 Quarterly Commission Meeting - 9 to 11 a.m.- Virtual Meeting
- Friday, April 17, 202 Quarterly Commission Meeting - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. - In person, Jefferson Center for Mental Health, with a virtual meeting option
- Note - the April 17 meeting will be held in person at the Jefferson Center for Mental Health (4851 Independence St, 1st Floor, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). Parking and entrance are free for all.
The morning of April 17 meeting from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. will be for appointed Commissioners to participate in planned activities such as ice breakers and team builders facilitated by the Commission Coordinator.
The full Commission meeting will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. If you attend in person, lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. The meeting, virtually, will be streamed and recorded on Zoom. Spanish interpretation will only be accessible through Zoom.
