VISION (Visual Information System for Identifying Opportunities and Needs)
VISION provides data for chronic disease and behavioral health measures in Colorado. The purpose of this tool is to provide data and visualizations for assessments and data-driven public health planning and program work. Data are updated as the data sources allows to provide the most recent information for Colorado health measures.
The Colorado Oral Health Surveillance System (COHSS), which monitors oral disease among Coloradans, has been integrated into VISION. COHSS is the result of a collaborative agreement between us and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Monitoring oral disease patterns lets us identify when disease levels change and trends emerge.
