Company name: Victor’s Market Co. of Hawthorne, Calif.

Product name: Approximately 7,368 pounds of whole chickens or chicken pieces in 50-pound boxes, produced on various dates from April 10, 2015, through July 20, 2015. The establishment number “P-6087” is inside the USDA mark of inspection. See the USDA news release for product specifications.
 
Reason for recall: Misbranding. The products were slaughtered under religious exemption which was not declared on the product label.
 
Distribution: These items produced were shipped to the original producer for distribution nationwide.
