COVID-19, influenza, and RSV resources for residential and long-term care facilities

Residential and long-term care facilities are key in preventing and controlling the transmission of COVID-19, influenza, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) among their residents and staff. This page includes guidance and resources for facilities to prevent and respond to COVID-19, influenza, and RSV.

Report to public health
- Facilities must report confirmed or suspected outbreaks immediately (within four hours of detection): 303-692-2700 (daytime) | 303-370-9395 (after hours) | or your local public health agency.
- After reporting by phone, facilities should complete the online outbreak information form to provide additional details. If online reporting is not possible, facilities may download and complete a PDF version of the outbreak information form and send it to the local public health agency or the CDPHE Viral Respiratory team (cdphe_flu_rsv@state.co.us) via secure email.
