FRWD technical assistance

Wooden ladder with the hand grabbing one of the steps

In an effort to support local governments in Colorado in moving up the “zero waste ladder,” the Front Range Waste Diversion (FRWD) board established the FRWD Technical Assistance program. Municipalities, counties, special districts, and other local governments are encouraged to utilize the resources of the FRWD Technical Assistance program to increase their waste diversion.

Phase 1 of the Technical Assistance Program is now complete, and a Content Library has been curated with resources categorized by subject matter to help local governments in Colorado advance their waste diversion potential.

Read the final report for phase 1

Phase 2 will involve implementation of a hands-on support program for local governments to meet them where they are and help them move up the “zero waste ladder.”
