The Dementia Training and Visitation Stakeholder Group is being formed to help implement Senate Bill 22-079 which requires that direct-care staff in Assisted Living Residences and Nursing Care Facilities receive training regarding the care of clients with dementia. Senate Bill 22-053 creates additional patient rights for visitation in certain healthcare facilities. This group will meet monthly on the fourth Wednesday of each month from September 2022 through March 2023.
