Toxics Release Inventory (TRI)
The Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) is a resource for learning about toxic chemical releases and pollution prevention activities reported by industrial and federal facilities. TRI reports must be submitted electronically to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) using TRI-MEweb. The TRI Report is due annually on July 1.
While the EPA is responsible for managing TRI data and reporting, the CDPHE is responsible for collecting TRI fees. CDPHE issues TRI invoices in the fall of each year. To learn more about the criteria used to calculate this fee, see our SARA Title II Fee Structure webpage.
