Class materials for higher education nutrition courses

The food and nutrition environment children are exposed to in early childhood has lifelong impacts across many learning domains. Early care and education (ECE) settings play a crucial role in establishing and supporting healthy habits.

To help equip college students with fundamental nutrition knowledge, skills, and competencies, higher education instructors are encouraged to use these 12 brief training modules to augment the curriculum of their Nutrition, Health, and Safety course or similar courses.

Each module comes with a standalone video recording, presentation, quiz questions, and a sample assignment that can be used as part of your class materials in-person or virtually.

These resources are free of charge for educational and training purposes. The modules are made possible with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
